Getting the right name for your personal or business site is a real challenge especially at a time where usage of the internet is still rapidly increasing, and when most, if not all, of the best domain names are taken. Anyname can assist you in getting that name:
- Acquisition of expiring .uk domain names
- Acquisition & brokerage of domains held by 3rd parties
- Lease, sale or trade of domains held on the ANYNAME/BETLEY/PARADYN IPSTAG’s
Domain Acquisition
Anyname are specialists in the acquisition of expiring .uk domains, commonly know as dropcatching. We have created our own bespoke software to use the DAC – domain availability checker and new EPP registration protocol to register expiring domains as soon as they are released into the domain pool.
We also provide this service to third party individuals and businesses on an ad-hoc basis by request. Depending on the domain name we charge between £25 and £500+ (+vat). This is a success-only fee, dependent on the successful acquisition of the domain. The price variance relates to the quality and interest in the domain. If you are interested in using our services please contact us. Other dropcatching services are listed on the UK resources page.
Note: We will NOT monitor domains relating to common trademarks, or typos of common personal or company names, nor will we monitor personal/company names unless proof that it is YOUR name can be provided.
Examples of successfully acquired domains include: hiya.co.uk, conjure.co.uk, propertychain.co.uk, dreamhome.co.uk, scrawl.co.uk, daub.co.uk, pid.co.uk.
Acquisition & Brokerage of registered domains
In the majority of cases a domain will be registered and is not due for release. Anyname can act as 3rd party brokers to provide an independent service to evaluate the domain and contact the current owners. Futher details on request.
