A current project involves the migration of a large Postnuke 0.75+ based site to a new Taxonomy-based Wordpress 2.7+ install. As there was no conversion script compatable with the taxonomy structure I’ve created an install wizard to go through the required stages.

Navigational categories can be set up to mave multiple child categories. Indeed, this is the best way to get a heirarchy of Brand > Product Group. Sometimes though these child groups also include those that don’t always fit with the rest, like Gender or colours. This mod splits the refine search category results into 2 groups according to defined sub-categories.
Adds a custom page banner to the top of the page content.
Admin defined banner per page. One banner per page if set.
If right hand columns visible, e.g home page, then these are pushed down by a css controlled value.
Div & CSS controlled. Allows for a seamless header layout without using the editor.
I got an email this morning off a known user on my list. Nothing normal there, nor the content really. Just a warning about a virus doing the circuit, with the message originating from a message board.
What caught my eye was that the mail had been forwarded numerous times, each one with the links for the past recipients… probably the contents of the senders email addresses folder, as easily readable links.
