Yes. I plan on using the same functionality that is already inbuilt for the enhanced RSS feed mod to essentially import XML/RSS into the products. Not figured out all the intermediate steps yet.

Merchant product IDs look to be persistent. I assume that represents the stock ID from their inventory systems and shouldn't really change.

It would be good to clean out the rubbish once and then forget about it on future imports knowing that I only need to review **New** products added.

Not defined how product control will wortk yet, but some kind of transpose is possible. Also a differentiation between import and imported products for the refresh. Depends on how refresh affects id's.

Moving to jquery so more ajax

Different admin look as well.

v3 sounds great!!

Will the product control have a persistent memory through feed refreshes?

e.g. If I optimise the description, maybe add a missing brand on merchant x prod y, will it carry it forward?

Sounds like a great way to optimise for SEO and be different from the pack.

Always struck me that it would also be good to have a synonym/transpose list to change some words on the import to immediately differentiate too.

Inline editing sounds amazingly handy when you spot a change needed.
