Qinetix is born!
I’ve started work on an affiliate datafeed plugin for wordpress. Codenamed ‘Qinetix’ – pronounced kinetics this will take a lot of the work I’ve done in the last few months and integrate into WordPress, probably in time for the release of 2.7. Yes, slumming it in php4 again!
It’s in pre-release early alpha stage, so nowhere near ready! I’ve done the basic database and class structure.
It should integrate cleanly with widget-ready wordpress themes and hopefully integrate with some of the built-in wordpress functionality – possibly ncluding ajax, and also with related third party plugins for things like Amazon & Ebay.
Due for beta Q2 2009.
I’ve been looking for something like this for a while.
